M. Ron Wahid
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Wahid is an industry leader in the fields of business, finance, and international security. He is the Founder and Chairman of Magellan Investment Holdings, an investment holding company with diversified interests in energy and natural resources, defense, financial services, and technology. In this capacity, he also acts as Chairman of Arcanum, a strategic intelligence company, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Magellan. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wahid worked in the U.S. Senate as a professional staff member on matters related to foreign policy, defense, and national security. He has also served as a policy analyst on arms control. Mr. Wahid’s opinions and editorials are frequently published in the world’s leading publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, The Washington Examiner, Defense One, Politico, USA Today, The Hill, The National Interest, and Petroleum World.
Christian Boerner
Director
Mr. Boerner has more than 35 years of experience in international corporate and investment banking as well as finance with a focus on CIS countries. In his early days, he worked with Merrill Lynch, NOMURA, ABN AMRO Bank, and ING Bank, after which he joined a private investment holding with assets of a few billion in Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Canada, and Germany. He has gained valuable experience in the commodity and real estate sector, as well as in trade and project finance, restructuring and IPOs. Since 2012 he has worked as an independent investment banking professional advising customers in different regions on a variety of businesses.
The Lord Evans of Watford, David Charles

Lord David Evans has over 50 years of experience in the print and media industries during which he created one of Europe’s and the UK’s largest print management companies and subsequently focused on a diverse range of media interests across traditional and digital publishing, media consultancy and corporate communications.
Alongside Senate Publishing, which produces publishing and communication platforms for governments, major corporates and leading financial institutions, David founded Evans Mitchell Books, a bespoke photographic art and natural history publisher. In 2013 he became chairman of Newsdesk Media Ltd, a leading international partnership publishing company, working with both public and private sector clients in a range of sectors including defence and high technology and foreign direct investment.
An acclaimed international businessman, David’s diverse business roles and activities also extend substantially beyond print and media to encompass, Peace Hospice Care amongst others, chairmanships of organisations in the general business consultancy, work and training and healthcare sectors.
David was appointed a Labour Peer in 1998 for his services to Charity, Trade and Industry.
